NDDC new board: UPU congratulate Okumagba, Erue, others

(Nigeria) The President General of Urhobo Progress Union, Olorogun Moses Taiga, has congratulated the new Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chief Bernard Okumagba; the Commissioner representing Delta State in NDDC, Prophet Jones Erue and the entire NDDC board on their appointment.
In a congratulatory message on Wednesday, Taiga said, “We are confident that Olorogun Okumagba will perform creditably well in office and meet the expectations of the Niger Delta people and Nigerians, in general.  Okumagba is an experienced technocrat and intellectual.”
Taiga appealed to all the ethnic nationalities in the mandate area of the NDDC “To support and cooperate fully with the new Board of the NDDC to enable it succeed. We can all do that by eschewing unnecessary rivalry, politics and any form of distractions; work collectively and contribute to the success of the Board so that our region can enjoy the much-needed growth and development.”
