Marafa, other have no stake in APC -- Yari media aide

(Nigeria) The Media Aide of the former Governor of Zamfara State, Malam Ibrahim Dosara has said that Senator Kabir Marafa and his agents have no stake in the All Progressives Congress, APC, being already expelled members.
Dosara in a  statement in reaction to a rumour  in the social media that  the former governor, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari  and APC Deputy National Chairman, Senator Lawal Sha'aibu have been recommended for expulsion from the party committee set up to investigate the anti- party activities that led to the taking over of Zamfara State government by the People's Democratic Party, PDP
He said, "This is to inform the general public that, neither Marafa nor any of his agents have stake in APC, as he is an expelled member.
"This public notice is therefore, promoted by a story making the rounds in the media that former Governor of Zamfara State and Chairman Nigeria Governors' Forum,  Dr Abubakar Yari and the APC Deputy National Chairman, Sen Lawal Shuaibu, have been recommended for expulsion from the party by the committee set up to investigate the anti- party activities that led to the taking over of Zamfara State government by the PDP.
"For public to note and for the record, Marafa, whose faction is said to have submitted a recommendation to the committee set up by the National Working Committee, NWC, to investigate the anti- party activities leading to the lost of almost seven APC states to PDP,  was since February 6, 2019 been ordered by a judgment in a Federal High Court, to henceforth, stop parading itself as the legitimate Executive Committee of the APC in Zamfara State.
"Again, it may also be recalled that the party had expelled Marafa and some other top members of the APC in Zamfara State for their roles in losing the state to the PDP, with immediate effect. The story is therefore, baseless and unfounded."
