Warri South-West constituency not conceded to any body ----Atete

(Nigeria) Former National President of Ugborodo youths body and House of Assembly aspirant in the 2019 general election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Mr. Julius Atete has said that it was not true that the Warri South-West Constituency position had been ceded to the Ijaws of the constituency.
He said the only politically agreed position to be rotated between the Ijaws and Itsekiris was that of the chairmanship position of the Council and nothing more, adding being of both ethnic nationalities, he was the most qualified and fit person to represent the constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly as Itsekiris are not prepared to concede the seat with them having more wards in the council.
Atete made these assertions during an interactive session with newsmen in Warri, Delta State, when he disclosed his ambition to run for the DSHA position, saying he will create more unity, sustain the existing peace and attract infrastructural development to the oil-rich axis of the state.
He added that creating employment opportunities for the teaming youths of the area will rank high on his agenda.
The proprietor of Julius Atete Football Club that unites the Ijaw and Itsekiri youths of the area tasked the electorate to get their PVCs to enable them vote candidates of their choice and charge all aspirants to engaged on issue based campaign and stop maligning each other as politics is not a do-or- die affairs, saying that they are all brothers who should support whoever emerges as the PDP flag bearer after the party primaries.
He appealed to party faithful to key behind the winner and offer their to enable the PDP clinch the seat and attract more democracy dividends to the area.
