Okowa, Otuaro get endorsement for 2019 by Burutu Legislative Arm

(Nigeria) Overwhelmed by the deployment of heavy duty equipment for the construction of roads in the sea shore communities in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State and his strides in human capacity development, the Burutu Council Legislative Arm has pass a vote of confidence in Governor  Ifeanyi Okowa and his deputy, Mr Kingsley Otuaro.
The legislative Armed led by its leader Mr Joseph Alubeze also endorsed  Okowa and his deputy Otuaro for another term, explaining that the transformation of Burutu council was  the currentt administration in the state was commendable.
In a motion moved by  Pudiya Biakpara, Majority Leader representing Tamigbe 3 at plenary for a confidence vote and endorsement for Governor Okowa and Otuaro his deputy for second term, she listed some of the developmental activities of the governor in the council Area to include the Sokebulou ,Obotobo-Yokri sea shore communities road projects and Burutu township road project which had been commissioned.
Other achievements she said include  the refinancing of the Ayakoromo bridge project; modern market project in Burutu town;  award of contract for the Tamigbe - Torugbene-Ojobo road project and the appointment of sons and daughters from the council into government offices.
The motion  was amended by  Anthony Gbafafe, Deputy Leader, representing Ojobo ward 9 and seconded by Mr  Kenneth Oyakemeagbegha, Deputy Chief Whip, representing Torugbene ward 1.
The legislature in its unanimous decision passed the  confidence vote and endorsed the Governor Okowa-and his deputy, Otuaro for 2019.
