(Nigeria) Immediate past leader of Ughelli South Legislative Arm, Mr Sunday Apah and Director of Publicity of Oboro Campaign Organisation has stated that Mrs Evelyn Oboro  remains the best option for the Delta Central senatorial seat come 2019.
Apah who addressed newsmen at the headquarters of Evelyn Oboro Campaign Organisation in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta state, said Evelyn Oboro’s experience, patriotism, popularity and achievements were already working for her.
He pointed out that the recent inauguration of her campaign team attests to his position that Oboro remains the best option for the PDP and people of Delta Central senatorial district come 2019 as the eight local government areas of Ughelli South, Ughelli North, Udu, Okpe, Sapele, Uvwie, Ethiope East and Ethiope West, the 85 wards and the numerous units were well represented at the inauguration.
Apah explained that Oboro as a councilor, council chairman and second term member of the House of Representatives, representing Okpe, Sapele, Uvwie federal constituency, has performed creditably well with the construction of several primary health centres, classrooms blocks, solar water projects, provision of motor-saws, motorcycles, over 300 tricycles, over 40 cars, several transformers, grinding machines, barbing kits, sewing machines, power generating machines, deep freezers and others for her constituents.
“Also, she attracted several roads and other infrastructural projects to her constituency through the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, attracted employment of her constituents into various government agencies.
“Plans are in top gear to empower more constituents between June and July of this year, so if elected senator come 2019, Oboro will do more, protect the mandate and will not bring disgrace to the Urhobo, rather will bring to bear her wealth of experience as a ranking legislator in the floor of the senate.”
Lamenting the absence of a PDP senator in Delta Central, Apah appealed to the PDP elders, leaders and stakeholders in the senatorial district to support  Evelyn Oboro for the senatorial seat for better and quality representation of Urhobo come 2019.
