IPOB disassociate self from Biafra Secret Service

(Nigeria) Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, under the Directorate of State, DOS, has dissociated themselves from the reports of the existence of a so-called Biafra Secret Service, BSS.
IPOB spokespersons, Emma Nmezu and Dr. Clifford Iroanya in a statement, said “We IPOB, under the Directorate of State, DOS, wish to dissociate ourselves from the news and stories of the existence of a so-called Biafra Secret Service, BSS.
“For those who do not know, beginning from March 20, 2017, the IPOB to whom the undersigned are the spokespersons have been organized and administered through a Leadership Team called the Directorate of State, DOS. The Head of the DOS is Mazi Uchenna Asiegbu and the conducts and decisions of the DOS are made through consensus after robust debates among members.
“At no time has the DOS approved the establishment of a Biafra Secret Service, BSS. The DOS has, on behalf of the entire IPOB under its administration, adopted the template of the Lower Niger Congress, LNC, which is based on the option of a United Nations-mandated and supervised Referendum. The DOS took this decision cognizant of the fact that there is no Constitutional provision for a Referendum in the Nigerian fraudulent Constitution that was single-handedly written by General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
“The DOS subscribes to the use of non-violent means, such as a Referendum, to achieve the restoration of the nation of Biafra and by invoking the relevant sections of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People, UNDRIP. The DOS believes that in the post-restoration era, the Biafran nation shall have a Secret Service whose duties and responsibilities will be clearly defined either in the Constitution or in an enabling law.
“Starting a Secret Service at this time that Biafraland is still under Nigerian occupation is akin to setting the cart before the horse and anyone involved with such act could be correctly interpreted as committing offences punishable under Section-37 and Section-41 of CAP C38 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
“Therefore, the DOS hereby publicly disowns and distances the entire IPOB under its watch from this publicized Biafra Secret Service, BSS. We warn and caution all members of IPOB under the DOS and every Biafran, in general, not to have anything to do with this so-called BSS. We notify the world that the IPOB, that is under the Leadership Team of DOS and headed by Mazi Uchenna Asiegbu, are not part of this so-called BSS both now and in the future. The DOS with a voice vote emphatically states “Caveat Emptor!!!” on this so-called BSS.
“The DOS is totally committed to the restoration of the nation of Biafra through the Referendum process because the restoration of the nation of Biafra is a divine project whose time has come and is, therefore, unstoppable, unquenchable, irreversible, and irrevocable," the statement added.
