between Nigeria and other countries if confirmed.
The Chairman of the committee, Sen. Monsurat Sunmonu,
enjoined the remaining nominees to get to the venue of the screening as early

She appreciated the Special Assistant to the President on
National Assembly Matters (Senate), Sen. Ita Enang, for presenting each of the
nominees for screening.
Enang, commended the committee for taking out time despite
the recess to ensure that the nominees were screened.

days to ensure the success of the exercise.
Buhari on June 9, sent a list of 47 ambassadorial

The nomination was, however, trailed with controversies, as
some people alleged that it was lopsided, as Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Plateau and Ondo
senators kicked against the list.
