Stop acting APC script, women coalition tells Sheriff

(Nigeria) Coalition of Women Vanguard, CWV, Edo State has called on Senator Ali-Modu Sheriff to stop acting the script of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the interest of peace and stability in Edo State.
The group in a statement by in Benin, Edo State on Sunday, by Tessy Uwadia, Coordinator and Mary Otiode, General Secretary, said  “We want to also call on Senator Sherriff  in the interest of peace to stop acting the script  of the detractors  in APC;  the people that put you there as acting chairman  said they don’t want you, why are you bent in causing trouble where none exist?
“Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as a party is very strong and united, don’t use your selfish desire and personal interests to create mountain out a mole hill. Edo state PDP gubernatorial primaries was very peace and transparent to the admiration of the whole world. We want to tell Ali Modu Sherriff go and do other things because the party has rejected him and the Nigerian people as well?”
The group described Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu as a season politician, a grassroots mobiliser, man that connects and know how to reach out to women and youth.
They called on Edo people irrespective of their  culture, tribe, religion and political
affiliation to vote for Pastor Ize Iyamu come September 10,  2016 for governor of Edo State.
“We know that Pastor Ize-Iyamu is a man of God with the heart of God to rescueGod’s people from this shackle of poverty and hunger that is affecting Edo women in the state.”
