Niger Delta Avengers base not in Egbema ----Ukori

(Nigeria)The people of Egbema ethnic nationality in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State have refuted media report, which alleged that the new militant group, Niger Delta Avengers’ has its base in Egbema Kingdom, saying that no iota of truth in the said publication.
In a statement by the Egbema people by Mr. Jude Ukori, said "Whoever said that the base of the Niger Delta Avengers is in Egbema kingdom should identify the location."
He noted that despite the fact that they are not getting benefits politically and economically from successive government as a major oil producing kingdom, they will never resort to unlawful acts.
“The author of the story could have at least mentioned one of the communities in Egbema Kingdom where such base was situated. Since he failed to mention any, the publication was a wild allegation generated by criminals and mischievous persons in an attempt to drag the good name of Egbema people into the mud.
"The peace loving people of Egbema have no reason to accommodate any criminal elements within our territory. So to avert the wicked intentions of the faceless authors of the story, we charge the good people of Egbema to be vigilant and report any suspicious move to the law enforcement agents for appropriate action," the statement added.
