Wike inspects roads in Eleme, Port Harcourt City

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike inspecting  ongoing  work  on Trans-Amadi Industrial Road in Port Harcourt on Thursday.

(Nigeria) Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has assured  residents of the Elelenwo-Akpajo  road in Eleme Local  Government  Area  of the state that the road will be delivered  on  schedule  for the economic  development  of  the  area.
The governor  also said that the total rehabilitation  of  Trans-Amadi Industrial  Road will enhance economic  activities  in the commercial  hub of the state capital.
Governor  Wike  on Wednesday  had direct personal interaction with  workers on the two major  roads in Eleme and Port Harcourt  City Local Government  Areas,  encouraging  them to maintain  the  speedy pace of  work.
He noted that the dualization of the Elelenwo-Akpajo  road  will ease traffic in the area, with residents having smooth access to Onne  Port for  their businesses.
The governor  also inspected the proposed new site of the Slaughter-Market along the  Elelenwo-Akpajo Road.
He was accompanied  on the inspection  visit by the State Commissioner  for  Urban Development,  Mr Chinyere Igwe.
