Syrian army raids ISIS hideouts in al-Qaryatain in Homs

The Syrian army’s air force raided early morning Tuesday hideouts and gatherings of ISIS terrorists in the countryside of Homs province.
ISIS vehicles, some equipped with heavy machineguns and others carrying weapons and equipment, were destroyed in the airstrikes in the eastern part of Palmyra, a military source told Syrian news agency, SANA.
The raids, also, resulted in destroying fortifications and hideouts of ISIS at the southern side of al-Tafha village near Jebb al-Jarrah area, some 80 Km to the east of Homs.
To the southern side of Homs countryside, the Syrian air force destroyed vehicles and dens for ISIS in the village of al-Basiri and in the vicinity of al-Qaraytain city, some 85 km from Homs city.
On Monday, army units established control over al-Hazm al-Gharbiya area, the strategic Point al-Raqema and Dahr al-Kharnoubi hill in the vicinity of al-Qaraytain city in the southeastern side of Homs province.
Army units also eliminated Monday the last gatherings of ISIS terrorists in Mintar al-Rumeili area and destroyed the terrorists’ supply routes and movements inside the city.
Earlier on Sunday, army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, established control over Points 850 and 849 in the direction of al-Hazm al-Thani as well as over Point 876 in the direction of al-Rumeila Mount northwest of al-Qaryatain.
