Police frees abducted 14 years Ese

(Nigeria) Following a directive on Monday afternoon by the Inspector General of Police to the Commissioner of Police, Kano State, Mohammed Katsine to liase with the State’s Emirate Council and relevant persons, the 14 year old Ese Oruru has been rescued from her abductor.
Confirming the rescue in a telephone chat yesterday, Force Public relations Officer, Mr Olabisi Kolawole disclosed that the Inspector General of Police has directed that Ese Oruru be giving protection adding that she will be flown to Abuja on Tuesday to be re-united with her family.
It was gathered that the IG had made arrangements to move the family to Abuja for the re-unification with their daughter.
Ese, abducted from her mother’s shop in Yenagoa Local Government Area, Bayelsa State on August 12, 2015, and whisked to Kano state,  hails from Uwherun town in Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State.
 Her abductors rebuffed efforts by her parents to secure her release after they converted the teenager to Islam, renamed her Aisha and betrothed her to Yinusa, the suspect alleged to have kidnapped her as her husband.
