Delta APC has no NEC ---Concerned APC members

(Nigeria) Concerned APC Members in Delta State, has described as false,  report of impending defection of the leaders of Labour Party in Delta, Chief Great Ogboru and the former speaker, Delta House of Assembly Mr. Victor Ochei of Accord Party Delta State to All Progressives Congress, APC.
The group in a statement by Alex Eyengho, said “In the statement, it was falsely reported that Olorogun Otega Emerhor claimed that the APC state executive council at a meeting in Warri on February 20, 2016 had agreed to welcome these new members to form a formidable opposition towards 2019 election.
“For public information, we wish to enlighten the people of Delta State in particular and Nigeria in general, that there is no such state executive council at present because of a subsisting Delta State High Court, Asabam order of April 30,  2015 declaring the purported state executive council illegal. “As of today, there is no court order in Nigeria which has invalidated the subsisting order. We therefore, to advise  the media to be wary of being used to mis-inform the public on the matter that had been adjudicated on.
“In the circumstances, on and until the national headquarters of APC organises a fresh state congress in Delta State for the purpose of electing the executive committee of Delta State chapter of APC  in accordance with its constitution and approved guidelines as ordered by the high court on April 30, 2015, those who are parading themselves as state executive members are nothing but people who do not believe in the rule of Law,” the statement added.
