11 killed in eastern Mexico bus accident

Eleven people were killed Wednesday in a bus accident in eastern Mexico, a spokesman for the local government in Jalapa said.
Other passengers were injured, and as many as nine of them are in critical condition, the official said, reports dpa.
The accident happened near the town of Las Choapas about 200 kilometres north-east of Mexico City. The bus had 40 people on board and was en route from the Mexican capital.
Speed is suspected as a possible cause of the accident.
