Boko Haram kills 9 in Borno village attack

(Nigeria) Boko Haram insurgents on Sunday, killed nine persons in an attack on Mailari village in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.
The state police Command confirmed the killings.
Mr Aderemi Opadoku, the Commissioner of Police, who addressed newsmen in Maiduguri, said "Today September 27, 22015 at about a.m. suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked Mailari village in Konduga council.
``Nine persons were reported killed while 10 were injured. The injured victims are now being treated at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital,'' he said.
Opadokun added: ``security has already been beefed up to forestall a recurrence while investigation is in progress.''
