Robbers raid First bank, Zenith bank in Ikorodu

(Nigeria) A gang of armed robbers, led by a young woman, on Wednesday, robbed two banks, First Bank and Zenith Bank in Ipakodo area of Ikorodu, Lagos, carting away an unspecified amount of money.
The operation lasted for about two hours, after five vehicles were also set ablaze by the robbers while an armour tank was slightly damaged in their bid to escape from the scene.
Eye witnesses' account said the robbers used guns, dynamite and charms to scare people during the successful operation.
The robbed banks are a stone throw from Ipakodo Division of the police.
The three person injured were a vulcanizer, a motorcyclist and a policeman who were rushed to Ikorodu General Hospital for treatment.
