Ndume emerges Senate Majority Leader

(Nigeria) The All Progressives Congress, APC, has lost again in the quest to fill other principal offices of the Senate, as Senator Ali Ndume from Borno State emerged Senate Majority Leader, against the wishes of the party, which has been scheming to impose leaders on the 8th Senate.
The  APC preferred candidate, Senator Ahmad Lawan from Yobe State, lost his bid,  as 11 out of the 13 senators from the North-East zone voted for Ndume.
