Saudi Arabia arrests 93 persons linked to ISIS

Fighters of the Islamic State Saudi Arabia security forces have arrested 93 extremists with ties to Islamic State, IS, organisation, the Saudi Arabian Interior Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The arrested extremists planned attacks on foreign countries’ embassies and administrative buildings, the statement said, report Tass.
"Ninety-three terrorists belonging to several Islamic State cells have been arrested on the territory of Saudi Arabia, they planned extremist attacks in the kingdom, including attacking authorities and foreign countries’ embassies," the Saudi Interior Ministry noted.
In particular, extremists planned to detonate cars in front of United States Embassy in Riyadh, it added.
Among the arrested extremists were citizens of Saudi Arabia and other countries, the statement said.
