Nepal earth quake death toll hits 3,600

The death toll from Saturday's devastating 7.9 magnitude earthquake in Nepal has exceeded 3,600, the Nepalese police headquarters said on Monday.
"Total number of dead and injured as of 12 o'clock is as follows. Dead 3,617 and 6,515. In Katmandu valley dead 1,302 and injured 4,228," the police said on its Twitter account, reports Tass.
Police said more bodies could be found under the rubble.
