Rivers declares curfew

(Nigeria) Rivers State Government on Monday, declared curfew with immediate effect.
The curfew is the last from 7 p.m., to 6 p.m., till further notice.
A statement from the Secretary to the State Government, Mr.George Feyii, said the curfew is with immediate effect.
It will be recalled that Rivers State has experience a lot of violence in the lead up to the elections, as supporters of the two major party in the state, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the All Progressives Congress, APC have been at each with claims and counter-claims.
