PDP wins Edo

(Nigeria) The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Edo State, has won majority of the National Assembly seats in Saturday's Presidential and National Assembly elections in the state.
In Oredo Federal Constituency, Omoregie Ogbeide Ihama of the PDP polled 35,104 to defeat Uyi Igbe of the APC who scored 22,249 votes.
In Ovia Constituency, Omosede Igbinedion polled 28,788 votes to beat her rival, Isaac Osahon of the APC who scored 21,505 votes.
