IG condemns invasion of Beyalsa court

(Nigeria) The Inspector-General of Police, IG, Mr Suleiman Abba, has  condemned the invasion on Monday of a Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, during which a court process was disrupted, and two female lawyers assaulted.
He has directed the Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa to fish out the perpetrators of the dastardly act and bring them to justice.
In a statement by Force spokesperson, Mr Emmanuel Ojukwu, said “The IG reasserts the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to provide a safe and secure environment for the dispensation of justice.”
