Russia slams US over Ferguson

As violence engulfed Ferguson, Monday and early Tuesday, Russia has slammed Americans hypocrisy for supporting anti-Russian forces in Ukraine, reports New York Post.
“You want to export that kind of democracy?” political scientist Alexander Domrin said on state TV, according to a Global Post report. “Thanks, but no thanks.”
Russian media — which refer to the Ferguson violence as “pogroms” — have been covering the tumult in Missouri since the death of Michael Brown in August.
The rioting that erupted Monday night after a grand jury failed to indict Officer Darren Wilson provided Russian propagandists plenty of fodder.
Defense analyst Igor Korotchenko urged Russian viewers to “draw a conclusion from the two-faced politics of the U.S.
“In one case, they fan the flames (of protest) like they did…in Ukraine,” he said, referring to protests in Kiev. “But in the analogous situation at home, they behave extremely severely. And that is what’s called American democracy.”
