EU to offer $622m loan to Ukraine for economic reform

Johannes Hahn, European Union, EU, Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement, said the EU will  offer another loan of $622 million to Ukraine next month for its economic and stabilisation reforms, reports Xinhua.
The EU has already provided Ukraine with over one billion dollars earlier in the year under several financial assistance programmes in order to help the crisis-ridden country's crumpling economy.
He said on Saturday during a meeting in Kiev with the Ukrainian businessmen that that the loan was part of the EU' macro-financial assistance programme.
Hahn disclosed that EU also decided to support Ukraine with another 68.66 million dollars to help the country deal with decentralisation and regional policy reforms.
