Get your act together, Siasia tells NFA

(Nigeria) A former Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Samson Siasia, on Monday called on the Nigeria Football Association, NFA, to get their act together ahead of its election on Sept. 30 in Warri, Delta State.
Siasia told NAN in Lagos that the contentious issues and challenges bedeviling the association should be resolved in the interest of the sport.
He said the development of football in the country should be paramount in the minds of football administrators.
``If the football house is not well managed, it will affect every aspect of the game; it will slow down the progress of the game which does not help anybody. They need to get their act together as we cannot move forward with unresolved issues here and there.
``Football has given us pride in the world, we should not mess that up now, we need all stakeholders on board. Do the right thing and put the right people at the right positions so that the league can also progress,” said Siasia, the former Super Eagles striker.
The crisis rocking the NFA has affected national leagues as the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, has suspended officiating in the competitions, citing the crisis in the football body.
The NFA Extra-Ordinary General Assembly held in Warri in September inaugurated Samson Ebomhe-led Electoral Committee and the Appeal Committee led by Okey Ajunwa.
