Luhansk militia don't need Russian military aid — commander

Commander of the Luhansk People’s Republic militia, Alexei Mozgovoi, has said that they do not need Russia’s military aid.
Speaking on Friday, he said  "Now we are using weaponry, seized from the National Guard of Ukraine. All weaponry is our trophy. We have enough of it.”
According to Itar-Tads, Russian humanitarian aid is only indispensable for southeastern Ukraine.
“If Russia wishes to help us, no military aid will be. Humanitarian aid must be rendered because not only militias but also civilians suffer,” Mozgovoi said.
He said most of Ukrainian weaponry was being supplied from Europe. This is Soviet-made weaponry, Mozgovoy said.
“Poland and the Czech Republic are supplying weapons to the Ukrainian army. Armoured vehicles and other hardware are being drawn from Eastern Europe,” he said.
Mozgovoi said, “Mercenaries and military specialists from the US, Poland, the United Kingdom etc are serving in the headquarters in Kiev and taking part in battles as commanders of units and warfare specialists. They are directly participating in combat operations and killing our people.”
“These are not volunteers but specially trained units,” he added.

NBC has no powers to impose fine on broadcast stations --Court

(Nigeria) The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, has been restrained by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, from imposing fines on broadcast stations in the country. Trial judge in the matter, Justice James Omotosho also set aside the N500,000 fines imposed on March 1, 2019, on each of 45 broadcast stations. The court made the orders in its judgment a suit by the Incorporated Trustees of Media Rights Agenda, MRA, which had sued the NBC. Justice Omotosho held that the NBC, not being a court of law, had no power to impose sanctions as punishment on broadcast stations. The court further held that the Nigeria Broadcasting Code, which gives the commission the power to impose sanction, is in conflict with Section 6 of the Constitution that vested judicial power in the court of law.
