Ukraine planes strikes Donetsk militias — spokesperson
Ukrainian aircraft have made on
Wednesday surgical strikes on militia positions on the outskirts of
Makeyevka, Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region, a spokesperson for the
Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council’s information and
analytical centre told a news briefing, reports Itar-Tass.
“Military hardware and strongholds of militia fighters have been
destroyed,” Andrei Lysenko said, adding that there had been reports
about the destruction of a Grad multiple rocket launcher system.
A militia's checkpoint has been destroyed near the town of Makeyevka, he says. “Information about enemy losses in hardware and personnel is being specified,” he added.
“A phosphorous bomb was dropped on the town of Makeyevka near the Krasnaya Zvezda coalmine,” the press service said. “Local residents report about Ukrainian planes flying on a daily basis over the settlement of Zaroshchenskoye, Shakhtyorsk district, dropping bombs,” it said. A tube plant is burning in the town of Khartsyzsk (Donetsk region) after an air strike by Ukrainian law enforcers, according to the press service.
