Over 60 Palestinians killed in Gaza over past 24 hours

Ma'an News Agency said at least 15 Palestinians were killed and about 70 wounded in the Israeli army’s strike on a school in Gaza's northeastern city of Beit Hanoun, operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, UNRWA.
Israeli air strikes and artillery shelling continue in southern parts of Gaza while Palestinians clash with Israeli forces on the ground.
Since July 8, when the Israel Defense Forces, IDF, started the operation Protective Edge in the Gaza Strip against Hamas militants, more than 30 Israeli servicemen have been killed and some 200 wounded, with one private listed as missing. Three Israeli civilians have died and some 300 have been injured.
Palestinian authorities assess the death toll from Israel’s army operation in Gaza at 752 and say more than 4,600 have been wounded.
