Gunmen kidnap 86 yrs retired Major in Bayelsa

(Nigeria) Gunmen on Monday, kidnapped a 86 year old Chief Benson Adigio-Eseni, a retired major, said to be an uncle to former governor of Bayelsa Sate, Chief Timipre Sylva.
Chief Adigio-Eseni was abducted in the early hours of the day from  his country home, Okpoama in Brass Local Government Area of the state.
A source said that the abductors, armed with AK 47 rifles, stormed the coastal settlement on the Atlantic fringe at 1a.m., in a speedboat, shot sporadically into the air to scare away the natives before whisking away their victim to an unknown destination.
