Ukraine police abandon HQ to pro-Russian protesters

Ukrainian police on Tuesday abandoned their regional headquarters in the eastern city of Lugansk to a crowd of pro-Moscow protesters laying siege to the building.
An AFP journalist saw the officers, some of them visibly scared, file out of the building wearing helmets but unarmed and climb into buses that had been sent to collect them, as an angry crowd shouted at them to "go home".
