Sextet, Iran agree on text of treaty by 98%, debate uranium enrichment
The six world powers (five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and Germany) and Iran agreed on the text of a treaty by
98 percent and are debating the issue of uranium enrichment, a source
in the Iranian delegation told reporters, reports ITAR-TASS.
“I can say that we have agreed on the
text by 98 percent,” he noted. “We continue the talks on problematic
issues, particularly uranium enrichment,” he said.
The source noted that the parties to the talks may complete the talks in Geneva within next two hours.
He did not give the direct answer to the question whether Iran and the six world powers will sign an agreement.
“We will not go out as long as we obtain the signing of a document,” the source said.
