Rebels kill 10 medical staffers in Damascus' suburb

Syria's Health Ministry said Tuesday the rebels massacred 10 medical staffers in the northern countryside of the capital Damascus, the state-run SANA news agency reported.
Five doctors, five nurses and two drivers have been massacred by the "armed terrorist groups" in the Deir Attieh town in the northern outskirts of Damascus, said SANA, providing no further details, reports Xinhua.
The al-Qaida-linked groups have recently infiltrated Deir Attieh after the army had dislodged them from the adjacent town of Qara.

The army struck a siege around the town in a bid to attack the entrenched rebels.
