Abuja-bound Ethiopian Airline with 200 passengers develops technical hitch

(Nigeria) No fewer than 200 passengers on board an Ethiopian Airlines flight, escaped unhurt after their Nigeria-bound flight developed problems shortly after take-off.
The ET 911 flight, heading for Abuja, took-off from the Bole International Airport, Addis Ababa on Monday.
Amb. Peter Iyamabo, the Deputy Head of Mission at the Nigerian Embassy in Addis Ababa, who confirmed the incident, told News Agency of Nigeria that the aircraft developed a technical problem shortly after taking-off at 9: 40 a.m. Ethiopian time.
He said that some of the passengers boarded the same aircraft to Nigeria after it was repaired, while five of them rescheduled their flight to Tuesday.
Effort to contact the Airlines Head of Information and Communications, Mrs Esete Yeshitila failed as she promised to call and provide more information about the development.
