Japan demands invesgitation into Russia's airspace violation

Japan has demanded Russia investigate the situation surrounding violation of Japan’s airspace by Russian planes, reports Itar-Tass.
“We have received a request from Japan,” an official of the Russian Embassy in Japan told Itar-Tass on Thursday.
The Japanese Defence Ministry said the F-2 fighters were ordered to intercept two Russian bombers Tu-95. The latter entered Japan’s airspace at 7:09am Moscow time to the north-west of Okunoshima Island, Fukuoka Prefecture. The bombers left the area in two minutes, the ministry reported.
This has been the first violation of Japan’s aerospace by Russian planes since February 2013.
