Rangers vow to pursue Confederation Cup re-instatement

(Nigeria) The Rangers International FC of Enugu has vowed to pursue its disqualification from the CAF Confederation Cup by the continental football body.
The club was disqualified from the competition after it reached the group stage for allegedly fielding an ineligible goalkeeper.
The club’s Manging Director, Paul Ozor, told newsmen in Enugu on Monday that it would fight hard to be re-instated in the competition.
Ozor said the club would not give up in its effort to restore its image before the football family and would do that through the appropriate means.
He said the club was considering the option of arbitration since CAF did not treat its appeal satisfactorily.
