Bayero returns to Kano after oversea medical check up

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, on Wednesday, returned to Kano from the routine medical checkup in the United Kingdom.
The Emir arrived at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, on board an aircraft around 7 pm.
He  was received on arrival at the Airport by retired Brig.-Gen. Idris Danbazau, the state Commissioner for Special Duties,  and other top government officials.
Others who were at the airport were members of the Emirate Council and traditional rulers from the 44 local government areas of the state.
Security was tightened at the airport as reporters and cameramen were subjected to thorough checks.
It will be recalled that the Emir was accompanied on the trip by the District Head of Nasarawa, Alhaji Nasiru Bayero, and the Ciroma of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Bayero, who were injured during the attack on the Emir’s motorcade on January19.
