4 die, 3 injured in auto crash in Katsina

Nigeria (Katsina) Four persons were feared dead, Monday, while  three others sustained injuries  in an auto crash at Hayin-Gada village on Funtua-Kano Road in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The accident,  involved a truck and a commercial Volkswagen Golf car that was carrying seven passengers, occurred at 7 .30am.
The Police in the state, said the driver of the car tried to dodge a pothole, when he ran into the oncoming truck, adding the car was transporting seven passengers from Kankara Local Government Area to Malumfashi when the incident occurred.
It was gathered that the truck was travelling from Kano to Lagos.
He said three passengers died on the spot while another died at Malumfashi General Hospital, where the victims were taken to by a team of policemen.
