Poland offers to support Nigeria in preserving artifacts, monuments

Prosecution close case in Danish citizen, Neilsen murder trial

*Peter Schau Neilsen middle in court (Nigeria) Lagos State government has concluded its evidence in the ongoing trial of Danish citizen, Peter Schau Neilsen who is standing trial before Justice Okikiolu Ighile  sitting in Igbesere division of Lagos High Court. Peter Neilsen is being prosecuted by the state for an alleged murder of his wife Zainab Nielsen and his three year old daughter, Petra Nielsen. At the resumed hearing on September 20, 2019, the Prosecution led by Ms. Titilayo Shitta Bey (Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, of the Lagos State Ministry of Justice) concluded their case. Defendant's team lead by Mr Olasupo Shasore, SAN, had taken the last prosecution witness   Dr. Idem Somiari on a train of cross extermination.   The State’s ninth (9th) witness was examined and cross-examined for over three days.
