Navy, Police killed our 2 members ---- Biafra group

Co-ordinators of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB on Thursday, stormed Onitsha, Anambra State to assess what they termed as extent of last Sunday's killings and injuries perpetrated on their members by Nigeria’s security forces, insisting that the shootings killings were done by the both Naval and Police officers in Onitsha.
National Coordinator of  IPOB, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, accompanied by the Secretary to the Homeland Directorate (Biafra Land), Gift Ahamefula and Anambra State coordinator, Ikechukwu Okoye had on arrival to Onitsha, visited St. Charles Borromeo Hospital, Onitsha where they saw the bodies of two of their members, whic were deposited at the hospital mortuary.
After the mortuary visit where they identified their two deceased members as Ebuka Nnorom from Ufuma in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State and Obasi Maduka from Ebonyi State, the coordinators moved to Paragon and Multi-care hospitals in Onitsha where they visited their injured comrades.
The coordinators insisted that their members were killed and injured when the Naval officers opened fire on the crowd as they were holding their peaceful rally, adding that while the navy shot and killed one of them and injured about five others, the Police shot and killed the second person and injured four others.
They said they were conducting their prayer rally and enlightenment summit along the road when the Navy and policemen confronted them, adding that they were now waiting for further directive from their director to know the next line of action.
Elder brother to the deceased Ebuka Nnorom, Anayo Nnorom, who identified himself as a newspaper vendor, said he had gone to the hospital mortuary and seen his slain younger brother, adding that they IPOB has volunteered to carryout funeral ceremony by themselves.  
However, the commander of Navy in Onitsha, Navy Captain Ali Kwabe denied attacking the group, let alone killing or injuring any one of them, adding that the little fracas between them and the group arose when the group blocked and caused vehicular traffic, and all they did was try to control them, while member of the group went on rampage and started hauling peddles at the naval personnel which injured some of their members.
