Rhodes-Vivour’s wife, daughter kidnappers demand N200m ransom

(Nigeria) Kidnappers of the immediate past president of the Maritime Arbitrators of Nigeria, Mrs Adedoyin Rhodes-Vivour, have demanded for a ransom of N200 million.
Adedoyin is wife of Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour of the Supreme Court.
It will be recalled that kidnappers on Friday night snatched Mrs Rhodes-Vivour, her  daughter and driver  in Benin Edo State.
The gunmen reportedly waylaid them and their driver at gunpoint as they were driving to Benin, the capital of Edo city in preparation for Justice Vivour daughter’s wedding.
The Edo State Police Command, speaking through Mr Moses Eguavoen, said the police were yet to establish where the kidnapping took place.
“I cannot say exactly where it happened. I can’t say whether it happened in Edo State part or Ondo State. I have not been able to reach Ekiadolor and Okada Divisions to know whether it actually happened in Edo State or not. When I get the appropriate information, I shall inform you. Expect our update on the issue latest Monday.”
Mrs Rhodes-Vivour is a member of the Lagos branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA and an arbitrator with a Law office in Lagos.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, has ordered the police to deploy resources and men to rescue the wife and daughter of the Supreme Court Judge, Justice  Rhodes-Vivour.
